WHAT TO BRING:

We’ll provide coffee and some light snacks in the morning, but will only have 50 minutes for lunch. Driving to Fairhaven for food will take 10 minutes each way, so try to bring food if you can mange it and do not want to be rushed.

CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT:

We’ll provide weather details 1 week and 1 day prior to the course. But rest assured, the course will be held rain or shine. Proper clothing should be brought to stay dry, warm, and comfortable.  A day pack with these essential items; water, headlamp, and snacks is a great idea for the skills portion each afternoon.

HIKING REQUIREMENT:

The class embarks on 2 hikes- each over moderate terrain  (trail, gravel, roots). Actual daily totals vary between 2-4 miles and about a 500 vertical feet gain. Consideration should be taken to ensure you are fit enough to embark on these trails. Please contact BMG if you would like more information about hiking fitness requirements.
