Downloadable Patient Care Report Card & Medications Guide

Resources for emergency response and adventure preparation

We hope these PDFs will be valuable assets in preparation for your upcoming adventures. The Patient Care Report is intended to help guide you through the steps of patient assessment and gathering all essential information when responding to a medical emergency. Think of it as both a reminder of all the essential procedures, as well a checklist and form you can fill out. Thus, it becomes a tool to ensure all the proper questions are asked and place to record the patient’s information and responses to evaluate and monitor them throughout the event. Page two of the Patient Care Report Card includes the space to note the change of vial signs over time, an essential process in determining whether a patient’s condition is steady, improving, or deteriorating. All this information will be extremely helpful for first responders should you pass patient care to EMS services in an emergency situation.

This list of medications is a reference guide to over-the-counter and prescription medications that can be helpful for common maladies. It is by no means comprehensive, but we hope that it can provide insight on what medications can be used to treat what ailments and conditions. It includes medications for allergies, common colds, dental care, ear care, eye care, gastrointestinal, gynecological, pain and fever, respiratory, sea sickness, skin, tropical diseases, urinary, and other miscellaneous issues. Whether you’re using it to pack over-the-counter medications for an upcoming trip, or looking for a remedy at a pharmacy in a foreign country, this list can be used as a reference guide given what’s available.

The Emergency Medical Quick Guide is a reference for the many steps of responding to an emergency. We designed it with the intention of helping you figure out what the problems are in a straight forward manner that addresses any potential life threats immediately. You can use this to help remember acronyms and processes. Considering the high-stress atmosphere and nature of these types of emergencies, practicing and memorizing these procedures on a regular basis is extremely helpful should a situation arise.
