From the backyard to the backcountry, we believe in the joy of exploration. The freedom to adventure well lies in preparation and remote self-sufficiency, helping to save lives and mitigate injuries when unforeseen circumstances arise.

We’re here to offer the best and most comprehensive set of skills, tools, and resources available for responding to medical and rescue emergencies in the most challenging environments.

Our commitment extends beyond traditional guiding services; from basic outdoor skills to advanced medical preparedness, we strive to educate and inspire a diverse community of adventurers.

Teaching Skills That Actually Stick

For nearly 15 years, we've perfected the art of teaching wilderness medicine AND making it fun! Small class sizes, instructors who've actually been there, and immersive scenarios where our moulage game is so good you'll almost forget it's fake. Both research and student feedback back us up: our approach means better retention and skills that stick when they matter most.

Creating Communities of Capable Humans

When one person learns wilderness first aid, entire friend groups get safer. When a medical professional takes our continuing education courses, whole communities benefit. Our post-course surveys show students don't just feel more prepared—they ARE more prepared. And that directly translates to lives saved and adventures that end with high-fives instead of emergency rescues.
