This is a Kayak-specific 2-day Wilderness First Aid program in partnership wih Tom Unger, WAKE, Hole in the Wall, NISCA and the Mountaineers. The in-person skills training and assessment includes beach scenarios with the gear that sea kayakers carry; no boats on the water. Pre-course online curriculum is required to be completed within 1 month prior to field training.

Location: Bay View State Park beach picnic shelter, 10901 Bayview Edison Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 (3-sided shelter, pit toilets; dress for outdoor spring weather)
